Step 3 - Accept the Transfer of Ownership request
Once we’ve received your payment, we’ll begin the transfer of ownership ASAP. You will receive an email notification sent to the email address you used at check out regarding the process and how to confirm the transfer.
In order to avoid a delay in transferring ownership of your new domain name we suggest you already have a free NameCheap account. If you do not have an account you can click here to register for one right now or simply follow the instructions when you receive the transfer request.
You are required to accept the transfer request sent you by NameCheap to complete the transfer process. Once you have accepted the request, the domain name you just purchased will be accessible within your NameCheap account fully completing the process and transaction. After your new domain name has been transferred into your NameCheap account you are free to transfer the domain out to any registrar service provider you wish.
Please note that the WhoIS information regarding ownership may take several days to be updated once the domain has successfully transferred.
